Easter Sunday

John 20:11-21

Luke 24:1-12

The disciples were sent to continue the mission of Jesus: to proclaim to a weary world that the peace-filled realm of God was still in their midst.  But, if all that we do is hear this good news, Easter remains only an idle tale.  Easter is truly embraced ~ not by proclaiming that Jesus "was" risen ~ but by showing that JESUS IS RISEN.
