Chapter Book Club
For older children (ready to hear chapter books) and youth who are reading chapter books. We will meet all together online, the second Monday of February, March and April from 7 to 8 PM. Rev. Leigh will give you some questions for each book for you to think about and you can share any thing you want to at our meetings. We will be reading about Beginnings… how heroes get their start (we will meet a girl who wanted to be a knight, a boy who wants to be a wizard, and lastly a boy and his friends who are wizards). will check in with your adults before each book so they know what it covers and Rev. Leigh will provide alternative book choices for those who are a little to young, or a little too old, for each one. If you are interested please email the office or Rev. Leigh ([email protected]) for reading schedule and zoom links.
Once the health restrictions are listed we will be able to join and hear stories in person again. Until then check out our online videos of stories and learning!
Children aged 3 and up are invited to enjoy a time of learning and play during the Sunday service.
There is no need to pre-register, anyone is welcome any week.
Each lesson will focus on a significant story from the bible or theme of faith. A variety of activities to enhance the story of the day is offered for a variety of age groups.
