United Church Women

The women of our church gather to learn, serve and pray together!  Please join them on the first Thursday of each month at 2pm, once restrictions are lifted.  We meet in the church's CE wing, a large room allowing for physical distancing, worship and many activities.

Men's Club

The men of our church meet for breakfast and conversation. Please join them on the Second Saturday of the month at 8:30am, once restrictions are lifted.  They meet either at Smitty's Restaurant in Leduc (main street) or in the church's CE wing, a large room allowing for physical distancing (bring your own breakfast).

Adult Book Club:  New eyes for an old story.

We have two adult groups running in parallel starting in 2021. All of us will read Nico Ricci’s Testament.

We will meet all together online, the last Monday of January, February and March from 7 to 8:30 PM.

One group, Occasional Readers, are invited to read it BY March 29th.  The book is in four parts and I have a timeline suggestion to get you ready for conversation each month.

The second group, Voracious Readers (those who read at least a book a month), will read it IN March following the discussion of two other books the months prior, Sue Monk Kidd’s Book of Longing and Christopher Moore's Lamb.

After a check in with one another, Zoom technology will then separate you into two separate Zoom “rooms.”  There each group will discuss what you have been reading, guided by provided questions. Rev. Leigh will go between meetings (Zoom allows her to jump in!) each evening. If you are interested please email the office or Rev Leigh ([email protected]) for reading schedule and zoom links.
