Sabbatical 2026

Rev. Leigh’s and St. David’s sabbatical will begin on April 5, 2026 after our Easter Worship service and Leigh will return on June 1, 2026 and lead worship again starting June 7, 2026.

Worship:

The plan for St. David’s is to rely on one another and lead worship together. The Worship Committee will continue to coordinate our Sunday morning experiences and will facilitate the congregational leadership we will all take part in while Leigh is away. Our regular volunteers will take on a few tasks on Sundays “behind the scenes” to help out our worship leads.

Administration and Council:

Most everything in the administration and structure of St. David’s will remain the same.  For these two months though, the Chair of Council will meet with one staff person and the Chair of the Worship Committee to share information more regularly. The Council will meet monthly as they always do.  They will be accompanied by a supervisor, who will represent the Northern Spirit Regional Council, in lieu of Rev. Leigh.

Pastoral Care:

Our Connection Coordinator will continue to be extra busy so will need your help!  She may ask for you to make some care calls or email folks reminders of events and such.  

Rev. Leigh will have her phone OFF.  Connect with Donna or any member of the Pastoral Care team if you or someone you know would like a visit.
