Call To Worship
Loving God, you are our companion on this challenging pandemic journey, and we will trust you.
As we search for a new routine, a fresh daily way, you calm us.
You are our companion and we will trust you.
As we keep in steady contact with family members and friends, you reassure us.
You are our companion and we will trust you.
As we are present to those who are anxious, lonely, and frail, you support us.
You are our companion and we will trust you.
As we find strength in a faith community changed but inspired, you rejoice with us. Amen.

Opening Prayer (based on Psalm 25)
Prayer Of Confession  (based on Psalm 25)
Words of Assurance

COMING TOGETHER, Introduce our Lenten Garden of Habits
Steadfast - "You are Here"

Reading from Scripture:
Psalm 25:1-10
Mark 1:9-15
We respond:
In ages past, disciples, prophets, priests and historians wrote down their faith.
This is a faithful witness of our ancestors.
Word of God for us today.
Thanks be to God.

Commissioning
God’s hand is offered to us.
Much like a child takes the hand of a parent,
we can take God’s hand and move forward in the assurance that we are not alone.
We are held up by a strength greater than our own.
Thanks be to God for this good news. Amen.

Singing: MV 216 Wherever You May Go
