Funeral And Memorial Services

Has Death Touched Your Life?  When that happens, it is common for many needs to surface:  a sadness and loneliness that needs comfort; the desire to celebrate the life of the person who has died; to greive their loss; to be with others and a desire to know hope and peace.

The church can help.

Whether working through a funeral home or not, the minister can meet with the person's loved ones and plan an approriate memorial service.  People do not need to have been active in St. David's Unitd Church to have a funeral through the church.

There are some basic fees for the use of the church and people involved.  Please contact the church office for those details:  office@stdavidsleduc.com

Pastoral Care Team

One of groups at St. David's is the Pastoral Care Committee.  They offer care in many practical ways.  They send cards to people who are experiencing a time of celebration or need; they organize a circle of prayer for people in special need of prayer; they help people with rides, come to visit, give out comfort "prayer shawls".

If you or someone you know is in need of care, contact the church.

Part of the church's care is to encourage a welcoming and reaching community.  The Pastoral Care Team organizes church newsletters so that even people who can't come to church regularly are part of the congregation.
